Budget.R ("Budget.R", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Budget.R handles information when you use the Budget.R mobile application.

Budget.R is designed as a local-first personal budgeting application. In Version 1.0, your financial information is primarily stored locally on your device. Budget.R Version 1 does not provide cloud synchronization, online Budget.R accounts, or subscription services.

1. Information You Enter Into Budget.R

Budget.R allows you to enter and manage personal financial information, which may include account names and information, account balances, income and expense transactions, descriptions and categories, budget information, spending and saving plans, and other information you choose to enter. This information is used to provide the budgeting, financial tracking, reporting, and related functionality of Budget.R.

2. How Your Financial Information Is Stored

Budget.R Version 1 stores your budgeting and financial information locally on your device using the application's local database.

3. Information We Collect

Budget.R Version 1 does not operate a developer-owned online account system and does not require an online Budget.R account for its core budgeting features. We do not intentionally collect your financial records, account balances, transaction history, or budgeting information on our own servers in Version 1.

4. Notifications and Device Permissions

Budget.R may use Android system permissions necessary for application functionality, including notifications, vibration, and boot completion for supported notification or background/scheduled behavior. You can control notification permissions through your Android device settings.

5. Data Sharing

Budget.R Version 1 does not sell, rent, or share your financial information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Your financial records remain on your device unless you deliberately use an Android or other system function that causes information to be shared outside the application.

6. Data Security

Budget.R is designed to minimize unnecessary transmission of personal financial information by keeping Version 1 financial records locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device. No method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Budget.R Version 1 does not maintain a developer-controlled online copy of your financial records. Locally stored Budget.R data remains on your device until deleted through application functionality or appropriate device-level actions such as uninstalling the application or clearing its data. Such actions may permanently remove locally stored financial information.

8. Children's Privacy

Budget.R is a general-purpose personal budgeting application and is not specifically directed toward children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through an online service.

9. Third-Party Services

Budget.R Version 1 does not intentionally transmit your financial records to third-party advertising or analytics services. The application may rely on Android operating-system services and software libraries necessary for normal operation. Information handled by Android or other third-party platform services is governed by the respective provider's policies.

10. Future Versions

Future versions may introduce functionality such as optional subscription services, cloud synchronization, or other online features. If functionality materially changes how information is handled, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to Budget.R, applicable requirements, or our privacy practices. The effective date at the top of this page will be changed when the policy is updated.
